Lower Limb & Gait Assessment

Bragg Creek Physiotherapy wants you to have a great running season!  In order to minimize your risk of injuries, we offer a lower limb and gait assessment.

The assessment examines the ROM of the lumbar spine, the sacro-iliac, hip, knee and ankle joints.  Muscle length and strength of running-specific muscles will also be evaluated, revealing any imbalances or deficits.  The biomechanics of the lower limbs, which influence your running technique during different functional movements, will be examined and a gait assessment on the treadmill will be conducted. At the conclusion, recommendations will be provided based on the specific findings of your assessment.

The assessment is a 60-minute appointment, one-on-one with a therapist.

It’s our wish to keep you running injury-free so you can maximize your potential!
